Ked Thornton got his start playing drums very early on in church. Subsequently he was formally trained throughout grade school and continued to play after attending Florida A&M University where he was a member of FAMU's renowned Marching 100 Band. Since then he has continued to serve in several churches and has been playing gigs in and around Washington D.C.
