I have always had a passion for drumming. When I was younger I still remember thumping my fingers off the counter top just to get the beats out of my head. It wasn’t until I was about 14 that I got my first Drum set. My friend Gary quickly took an interest in the guitar and we learned our instruments together. We eventually got pretty decent at playing but when I became saved I just couldn’t play the worlds music anymore. I long for worship songs. Music that gives God praise! Sadly I haven’t played a whole lot in the past few years because I just can’t find anyone in my area that needs a worship drummer. I want to play in a band that LOVES God and only wants more of Him. I feel the Holy Spirit on me when I play and listen to worship. I just can’t do anything meaningful with my life or for God without the Holy Spirit on me.
