De Andre Gatlin aka Dre Magic from Chicago, IL, NARAS, Music Academy (Drums & Percussion), (Music Producer), (Recording Engineer) with 25 Years of overall experience. I'm looking for a Christian Gospel band/group to tour the world with. Started playing Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Rock when I was 8 years old. My 1st Home Church I played drums for was Pilgrim Baptists Church on the South Side Of Chicago. In 1996 I then join and played Percussion for Apostolic Church Of God on the South Side of Chicago. UIC Pavilion was my first Big Experience in playing Percussions in front of Thousands. In The Late 90's I stop playing my drums to raise my family. Hello there!!! Every since I was a little boy, I developed a passion for playing the drums! Therefore God saw fit to bless me with the gift to do so. I don't know how to read music, but I can start off a song and navigate my way through it. Over the years I've learned on my own and from watching and listening to other drummers play. And now, I play the drums for two churches. Being able to play the drums have been such a blessing to me. I've even taught some of the @ youth at church how to play. Education includes Marist High School (marching, concert & jazz bands) followed with majoring in Percussion Performance at Illinois State University.
