South Dakota, Sioux Falls – Eli

Hello! I am Eli I am a drummer and follower of Christ. I see music as a way to open up and let everything go. With God's help that feeling is so much larger and so much more fulfilling. At the same time, while playing music for Jesus, you allow other people the opportunity to worship and feel the love of Jesus Christ. I have played drums and multiple worship teams as well as jazz ensembles, concert bands, and orchestras alike. In high school I was awarded the Louis Armstrong jazz award my senior year. I was an all state musician then as well I went to college for music performance and was in all the top ensembles at Concordia College. I also had the opportunity to perform with the United States Army Field Band. I may not have the most amazing resume or profile but I can play music. I can play whatever is thrown my way. It may take a little time to learn something or figure something out but I can play anything for the name of God. My instruments consist of mainly drum kit, any kind of percussion, a little bit of piano and an even smaller bit of guitar and maybe vocals.. I have toured. I've done numerous gigs around the Midwest. I've done some recording. I'm up for anything. One of my favorite things to remember is this: with God, nothing is impossible.

I am an 80's gal that can still rock with the best of them. I play best by ear and can play with any type of band. Prefer a quicker beat but can adapt to other styles. Music has always been a passion and a gift and I am looking to give back to give God all the glory.

Tennessee, East – Ronnie Long

-Started drumming when? Not long after being able to walk as a baby, with pots / pans and on boxes I would pretend were drumsets.
-Got my first mini drumset at an early age and used to play in the basement at my parents house all of the time, playing to music in head phones. This is where I taught myself.
-Not long after my parents bought me a normal sized set which further I practiced on throughout the years.
-Began playing at church on Sundays by the time I was in middle school. I also attended band in middle school where I played the snare drum. High school wouldn't let me in due to missing some of my middle school year due to a broken leg.. (screw you high school band instructor)
-My mother eventually let me purchase a more expensive entry/intermediate level kit for my birthday in high school...this lead to even more playing and practicing.
-I became the drummer at another small local church
-Played for about a year in a southern gospel group who played out numerous outings and churches
-have been in small bands that eventually fell apart
-drummer for employer ceremony event
-currently I am in the works of drumming for contemporary praise and worship services at a church
